Six Twelves

Posted on Updated on

For the last 12 years, everyone’s gotten giggy over dates on the calander that line up with the times on the clock. People have rushed to get married or enduced labor on these dates since the turn of the millenium. Commemorating our aknowledgement of the event is one reason Facebook and Twitter have remained so popular. This time around, Diana was scouting materials for her next installation while I was at home editng photos.

The novelty wore off some time ago, after all, nothing could top 11/11/11 11:11:11. That said, all other coincidates will be phoneys after this one. Today we witness the end of an era. December 12, 2012 at 12:12:12 PM was the last time our collective, invented odometers will line up in our lifetimes. We survived and I’m sure we’ll rarely speak of it after today.

Keep this in mind on December 21, 2012, when we bring in a New Baktun.
