Osito Contreras – Nuestra Mascota

Posted on Updated on

We recently realized that we haven’t formally introduced you all to Osito Contreras, our four-year-old West Highland Terrier mix and the official mascot of The Contreras-Gabriel Project. Our Little Guy works a room like no one’s business and is beloved by anyone with a soul. Diana taught him an array of tricks at home but here is his latest passion.

Osito took a few agility classes at Family Dog Center of Illinois last spring and summer but this fall kept us super-busy, so we haven’t been able to enroll him again. In revisiting this footage, after about 3 months, I’m amazed at how far he had come in the dozen or so sessions that we had. We hope to continue again this spring.

[…] We made another Jack-O-Lantern last weekend because we ate our first batch of roasted pumpkin seeds so quickly. Smothering them with Chipotle Chalula before baking them made them smokey and insanely addictive so we wanted to make some more. This time we chose an image for all three of us instead of just Osito.
